I am actually really surprised that I managed to get this up on time. Like, even tho I had a full extra week to work on it, I had only gotten the coloring and foreground shading done by 10 this morning.

I guess some of it might look rushed as a result, but I'm just happy I managed to get it up on time <.<

Well, I can't really claim all credit for the positive parasite-host relationship on this.

When I was creating the Martius character two years ago now for an RP, I specifically wanted a character with a parasite-host relationship like the parasite users from Skullgirls, which I thought was a really cool idea.

Since then the context of the characters and specific rules about how the relationship work have deviated from how they did in Skullgirls, but I don't want to skimp sourcing my inspiration on this.

Interesting. A symbiotic relationship between a human host and an unknown entity, resulting in a superhero.

Chloroform implies that the symbiote is organic in nature, as it was knocked unconscious. Mental dialog like what was shown means there are two distinct personalities, and the "partner" comments imply that the relationship was worked out by mutual consent. Before or after the fact is the question, though.

Regardless, interesting comic.

So is this a version of What if Venom was a good alien and the host actually had a good relationship with it?
Dont get me wrong now. I actually like the idea. Is VERY rare to see a symbiotic relationship that is mutual and is used so good. I bet those 2 get along amazingly. If I already liked the comic, now I double like it!!
